Paying all the bills, cheap thrills

Raising kids and puppy loves

Never ending

Seems to be enough

Then one day you stop

Think and ponder

What comes next

Where do I want to be

What do I wish to see

How much time do we have

The days numbered between birth to death

Moving pieces and moving ahead

Moving on … nothings lasts

How on earth did we get here so fast

When it truly was so very long

Kids are grown and long gone

House sells

Bye bye, career jobs

Moving out and moving on

Retired life beach bound

How did we get here so fast

But then again, it really was so very long …
